Jorginho Reveals Mikel Arteta Twice Tried to Sign Him for Arsenal

Jorginho has revealed that Mikel Arteta tried to sign him for Arsenal on two separate occasions.

The Italy international is now at Chelsea, but he has admitted that he came close to joining the Gunners in the past.

"I spoke to Arsenal a couple of times," Jorginho told MailOnline. "They were interested in signing me, but it didn't happen for whatever reason.

"I don't know why it didn't happen, but I'm happy at Chelsea now."
